The Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka, has announced that applications for appeals to recheck the answer scripts of the 2026 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination will be accepted from yesterday (07).
A notice in this regard has been issued by the Commissioner General of Examinations, A.K.S. Indika Kumari Liyanage.
Accordingly, appeals can be submitted from September 7 to September 21, and the entire process must be completed online.
The principal of the school attended by the relevant examination candidate is required to submit the appeal request by accessing the SCHOOL LOGIN section of the Department of Examinations' online examination system using the username and password provided to the school.
Applications can be submitted through the Department's online examination portal at onlineexams.gov.lk.
The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) is set to further strengthen its fleet with plans to import 600 new air-conditioned buses by the end of this year, while an additional 200 buses will be purchased using SLTB funds, Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development Bimal Rathnayake said.
