A special briefing for the diplomatic community in Sri Lanka was held on 4 December at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Mr. Vijitha Herath. Sri Lanka received a consignment of canned tuna as relief for the people affected by the adverse weather from the Maldives today (05), reflecting the strong partnership and regional solidarity between the two nations.
