The Second Session of the Joint Commission between Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was successfully concluded in Colombo yesterday (04 ).

The Sri Lanka Navy arrested six suspects aboard a local multi-day fishing vessel in deep waters off the western coast, seizing over 250kg of Ice and 85kg of heroin during a special operation on November 2. The vessel and suspects were brought to Dikovita Fisheries Harbour, where the Police Narcotics Bureau confirmed the drug quantities.
