Sri Lanka and Kuwait have agreed to further expand practical cooperation in the port, aviation, trade, investment and energy sectors, while exploring new investment opportunities in Sri Lanka and strengthening direct coordination between relevant institutions of the two countries.
A boat carrying 10 passengers from Kurikattuwan Jetty in Jaffna to Delft Island was involved in an accident near Nainativu (Nagadeepa) yesterday afternoon (16), with all passengers safely rescued by the Sri Lanka Navy.
