Sri Lanka’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath has invited Maltese investors to explore investment opportunities in Sri Lanka, particularly in technology hubs, green infrastructure, and the Colombo Port City.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sri Lanka, the Minister extended the invitation during a meeting with Ian Borg on the sidelines of the Raisina Dialogue currently being held in New Delhi.
During the meeting, the two Foreign Ministers discussed maritime cooperation, tourism, visa facilitation, and the initiation of bilateral consultations between the two countries.
The Foreign Ministry further stated that both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the existing relations between Sri Lanka and Malta.
