The renovation work of the Colombo Fort Railway Station, implemented by the Sri Lanka Railways under the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development, is scheduled to begin tomorrow (April 9) at 9:00 a.m. under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
The project will be carried out with the assistance of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Under this initiative, the railway station will be upgraded into a modern facility equipped with improved passenger amenities.
