A complaint has been lodged with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today (11) by the Secretary to the President, requesting a formal investigation into coal imports to Sri Lanka since 2009.
The request follows concerns raised in audit reports and in Parliament regarding alleged irregularities in the importation of coal.
