A notification has been issued by the Secretariat for Rural Development, Social Security, and Community Empowerment that the report published in the newspapers that the allowance paid for kidney patients will be cut off after December is completely not true.
It has been proposed to increase the allowance for kidney patients from 7,500 to 10,000 by the budget.
Although updating the information is taking place these days, it has been mentioned in the relevant notification that thereby, whatever benefits received by the public will not be lost.
As per the information of the National Secretariat for Persons with Disabilities, even though it has been reported there are 47,244 kidney patients, the updating of the information will be made after confirming the accuracy of the said numerical data.
