Sri Lanka's export sector demonstrated remarkable resilience and steady progress during the first six months of 2025, with total exports reaching US$ 8,337.86 Mn, marking a robust 6.70 % growth compared to the same period in 2024 said Export Development Board (EDB)

The Financial Consumer Relations Department of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) will launch the ‘Anti-Pyramid National Awareness Week’ from 14th to 18th July 2025, under the theme of “Pyramid is a trap – don’t get into the wrong track.” This national initiative aligns with CBSL’s mandate to maintain financial system stability and promote the well-being of financial consumers.
