Sri Lanka has received the fourth tranche of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) loan, said Minister of Labor and Deputy Minister of Economic Development Anil Jayantha Fernando.
The Minister said this while participating in a special media briefing held at the Government Information Department yesterday (01).
The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund, which met on 28 , has decided to approve another tranche for Sri Lanka under the Extended Credit Facility, and a loan tranche of US $ 344 million has been approved, the Deputy Minister further said.
