The Government has given high priority for the construction of the portion of the Northern Expressway from Enderamulla to Galewela and the portion of the Link Expressway from Pothuhera to Galagedara.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Highways, Ports and Shipping has taken steps to speed up the Construction of Sections from Pothuhera to Rambukkana (14.0 1cm) on the link Expressway and 35 km including Interchanges at Pothuhera and Rambukkana in Northern Expressway Project
