The Government has taken steps to declare the period from 1st to 7th December 2014 as the week for the “Nirogiee Lanka” National Health Programme 2014.
It is expected to conduct several health programmes to uplift the health facilities in association with the relevant Ministries, Government Institutions and Provincial Councils.
It is observed that Rs. 157 Billion has been allocated by the Government to provide free health services to the public. (ST/KH)
