Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and North-Western Provinces.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Eastern and Uva Provinces after 2.00p.m.
Fairly strong winds about 50 kmph can be expected in the Southern Province and Bibile area.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
