The clinic was conducted for the benefit of civilians in Kilinochchi and 'Colombo Vision Care' optometrists and surgeons screened 244 civilians for vision impairments at the clinic.

210 civilians were recommended to use eye glasses for vision and 34 others were prescribed reading glasses. Vision Care team also distributed eye glasses free of charge among clinic attendees.

Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, Commander, Security Forces – Kilinochchi (SF-KLN) and large number of senior officers attended for this community project.
