International White Cane Day national celebration will be held tomorrow at ‘Apegama’ in Battaramulla under the patronage of the Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare S.B. Dissanayake.
The International White Cane Day falls on 15th October.
A walk with the participation of the visually handicapped people will also be held from Parliamentary grounds to the ‘Apegama’ premises.
Deputy Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare Ranjan Ramanayake will also participate.
