Showers or thundershowers would occur at several places in the Eastern, North Central and Northern provinces after 2.00p.m., Met. Department said.
According to hem, a few showers would occur at few places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle, Matara districts.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
