Meteorology Department expects afternoon thunder showers particularly in the Eastern, Northern and North-central provinces after tomorrow (13th Oct.).
“The atmospheric conditions are getting favorable for afternoon thunder showers”, it said.
Fairly strong winds (up to 50 kmph) are also expected to continue over the central hills.
Meanwhile, showers or thundershowers are expected at a few places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle, Matara and Jaffna districts.
