Fairly strong winds (up to 50kmph) are expected to continue at times over the North-central, Southern provinces and in the central hills.
Light showers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces, and in the Galle and Kurunegala districts.
Thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Northern, Eastern, and Uva provinces after 2.00 p.m.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
