Marking the 75th Anniversary of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), a new commemorative Rs. 2000 banknote was presented this morning (29) to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat by the Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe.
United States Navy Ship (USS) Santa Barbara (LCS 32) arrived at the port of Colombo on a replacement purpose on 16 Aug 25. The Sri Lanka Navy welcomed the visiting ship in compliance with naval traditions.
