The State Mortgage and Investment Bank has made a financial contribution of Rs. 5 million to the Government’s Rebuilding Sri Lanka Fund, established to provide relief to communities affected by the Diṭwah cyclone.
The cheque was formally handed over yesterday afternoon (09) at the Presidential Secretariat by Chairman of the State Mortgage and Investment Bank, Mr. Maheel Kuragama, to Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.
General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Mr. Indika Thushara Asuramanne, along with Mr. A. W. Perera, were also present at the occasion.
