Sri Lankan Olympic athletes have made a financial contribution of LKR. 582,786.18 to the government’s ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund to support relief efforts for those affected by Cyclone Ditwah.
On behalf of the Sri Lankan Olympic athletes, Ms. Sriyani Kulawansa handed over the cheque to the Director General of Presidential Public Relations, Mr. Dharmasiri Gamage, recently. Nimmi de Zoysa, Sunil Gunawardena, Niluka Karunaratne and Kyle Abeysinghe also participated in the event.
