The Colombo Municipal Council has announced that parking charges in Colombo will be reintroduced from today (23).
According to a statement issued by the Council, queues have reduced following the implementation of the government’s QR code system and the fuel distribution method based on vehicle number plates (odd/even system).
Accordingly, the Council’s Finance Standing Committee has decided to resume the usual parking management and fee collection from 6.00 a.m. today (23).
The statement further noted that parking operations will now continue as normal.
