President Anura Kumara Disanayake has appointed Dr. B.K. Kolitha Kamal Jinadasa as the new Secretary to the Ministry of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources.
The official letter of appointment was handed over to him this afternoon (20) at the Presidential Secretariat by the Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.
Mr. Kolitha Kamal Jinadasa has served as a Biomedical Engineer at the United Nations Office for Project Services for South Asia and held the position of Coordinating Secretary at the Ministry of Fisheries.
Mr. Jinadasa holds a Ph.D in Chemical Science and Technology and a M.Sc. in Food Science & Technology as well as a Post Graduate Fellowship Diploma in Fisheries Quality Management.
