President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed Mr Anura Karunathilaka as the Minister of Energy.
Accordingly, Mr Karunathilaka was sworn in as the Minister of Energy this afternoon (20) before the President at the Presidential Secretariat.
In addition to the Energy portfolio, he also serves as the Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation.
The Secretary to the President, Dr Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, was also present on the occasion.
