The Embassy of Japan and the Japanese Language Teachers' Association of Sri Lanka has made arrangements to hold the Japanese Cultural Exhibition 2014 on Saturday August 30 at 10.00 a.m. at the J.D.A. Perera Gallery, University of the Visual and Performing Art, Horton Place, Colombo 7.
The exhibition will consist of some of the cultural features of Japan such as Ikebana, Bonsai, Origami, Dolls, Kimono and posters displaying popular tourism destinations in Japan. Demonstrations of Ikebana, Origami, Bonsai, Calligraphy. A Tea ceremony also will be held during this exhibition. (ST/KH)
