Three new Governors for Western, Southern and North Western Provinces were sworn in by President Maithripala Sirisena on Friday at the Presidential Secretariat.
The three new Governors are K.C.Logeswaran, Governor-Western Province, Hemakumara Nanayakkara, Governor-Southern Province and Ms.Amara Piyaseeli Ratnayake, Governor, - North Western Province
The appointments were made by the President as per Article No.154 (a) of the Constitution. (KH)
