President Mahinda Rajapakse said yesterday (10) that the government’s aim in establishing Mahindodaya Technological Laboratories is to provide a good education to every child in the country to enter the world of tomorrow. President Rajapaksa also pointed out that it is his belief that Principals and Teachers should be provided with a pleasant environment to carry out their duties towards giving a good education to the children. Therefore he assured to solve the problems with regard to Principal and Teacher Service by January 2015.

President Rajapakse made these remarks at the opening of the Mahindodaya technological laboratory constructed at Humbuluwa Central College in Alauwwa. The new building consists of a computer laboratory with 40 computers, a Language Laboratory with 20 computers, a Mathematical Lab and a Nenasa Distance Learning Education Unit.

Ministers SB Navinna, Bandula Gunawardena, Anura Priayadarshana Yaoa, Johnston Fernando, Salinda Dissaayake, Jayarathna Herath, North Western Province Governor Dayasiri Jayasekera, Parliamentarian ZShantha Bandara were present.(KH)
