The Third Ministerial Meeting of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) was held in Colombo and President Maithripala Sirisena on Wednesday (20th Dec.) hosted a dinner for the delegates attended this meeting.
The Ministers and representatives from BIMSTEC Member States- Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand are attended this Meeting.
The Third Ministerial Meeting of BIMSTEC on Poverty Alleviation held from 20th to 21st December in Colombo.
Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare, S.B. Dissanayake, Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake and the delegation including the Secretary General of BIMSTEC M. Shahidul Islam attended the dinner.
