President Maithripala Sirisena will address the United Nations Conference on Climate Change – 2015, held in Paris, France today (30) at 7.30 pm local time.
The Conference commenced today with the expected participation of more than 150 Heads of State and this is the first time in nearly four decades that such a number of world leaders gathered in France.
It is significant that President Sirisena represents Sri Lanka in his capacity as the Minister of Environment as well as the President of the country.
