The Election Commission has requested the general public to notify their respective District Election Offices or Grama Niladhari Officers prior to March 14th regarding their relatives residing overseas or those who are deceased.
Accordingly, the Election Commission noted that the request has been made to the public to notify their respective District Election Offices or Grama Niladhari Officers regarding their relatives residing overseas or those who are deceased and whose names are on the 2019 electoral register up to March 10th in order to prevent the misuse of votes during the upcoming general election.
