He thanked all ministry officials and his private staff who assisted him for the last two and a half year period to improve the life condition of the people in this country.

Addressing the staffers, minister Karunanayake said that he was able to perform a tremendous service for the country as the Finance Minister during the past two and half year time.

Minister Ravi Karunanayake also said that as the new Foreign Minister, a broad responsibility has been laid on his shoulders to be performed for the country.
