The Canadian Naval Ship, ‘HMCS Winnipeg - FFH 338’ arrived at the Port of Colombo for a training and goodwill visit on Saturday (20th May).
During the ship’s stay in Sri Lanka, its crew is expected to take part in a wide range of activities including passage exercises, on-board receptions and several sporting events organized by the Sri Lanka Navy.
The ship is scheduled to leave from the Port of Colombo on 25th May.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
