DCS states that this census will be conducted from9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.on17thNovember2016, with the participation of all public and semi government sector employees.
DCS has launched a web site containing all material (questionnaires, instructions, code list etc.) that will be used for the census and this site has been included in the department web site(www.statistics.gov.lk ). Audio visual instructions on filling each and every question of the questionnaire in Sinhala, Tamil and English languages are also included in this web site.
DCS requests publicand semi government sector employees to go through these documents and assist the department to conduct this census successfully, by filling a census schedule accurately, during 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. on17th of November 2016.
