High ranking officials of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) and Government visited Vavuniya, Kilinochchi and Mullaittivu on Saturday (13th August) to explore the possibility of further land release.
Secretary to the Ministry of Defense Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi led the delegation and included the Commanders of the Army and Navy, Defense Ministry officials, senior officers of the three forces and district secretaries of the Kilinochchi, Wanni and Mullaittivu.
The delegation visited the lands which are being used by the Security Forces in Wanni, Kilinochchi and Mullaittivu areas.
