He has already appointed two committees headed by Supreme Court Judges Priyasad Depp and Buwaneka Aluwihare to look into the possibilities of minimizing the delays , and to make required revisions to the Code of Civil Procedure as well as to the Code of Criminal  Procedure.
 

Minister made these comments addressing the third National Law Conference in Kandy, organized by the Ministry of Justice, and Colombo Bar Association. He  said the main expectation of clients coming to  lawyers is to obtain an immediate solution for their cases.
