The meeting was held at the Anuradhapura District Secretariat with the participation of D.P.G.Kumarasiri, the Returning Officer of the District. The officials were briefed as to how they should act during the period of elections.
Kumarasiri said that a Centre of Election Complaints has been established at the District Secretariat and it will be open from 8.30 am to 10 pm daily. Three Additional Returning Officers will be in charge of the Centre and any complaints could be informed over T/P No.025 2 22 78 55, Kumarasiri added.
