Cloudy skies with showers will prevail at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Northwestern and Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts, the Met Dept. forecast for today revealed.
Thundershowers can also develop at a few places in the Eastern and Uva provinces during the afternoon or evening.
Strong Southwesterly winds can be expected over the country and surrounding sea areas at times and especially during the showers, the Met Dept. added.
