Former Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa who was being treated at the National Hospital, was taken to the hospital’s Cardiology Unit for several tests on Monday.
Colombo National Hospital Deputy Director Dr. Cyril de Silva said that Rajapaksa was brought back to the Merchant Ward where he was being treated, after been subjected to several tests last morning and it is a routine procedure to bring a patient to the Cardiology Unit for tests.
