The Sri Lanka Railways (SLR) will operate special train services during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year period.
Addressing the media, SLR General Manager Vijaya Amaratunga said a special train service will commence from April 11 to 19.
He said special train services covering an additional 50 turns would be in operation from Colombo Fort to Badulla, Colombo Fort to Mahawa,Maradana to Galle and Maradana to Matara.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
