The court also ordered the prison authorities to obtain a comprehensive report from the Chief Medical Officer of the Prison Hospital on Shashi Weerawansa’s condition and whether she needs to be admitted to the Colombo National Hospital or not.
The Prisons authorities were also ordered to obtain the advice of the Prisons Medical Officer whether
Weerawansa was remanded till February 25 over charges of furnishing forged documents to the Immigration and Emigration Controller for obtaining a diplomatic passport.
