President of the All Island Bakery Owners' Association N. K. Jayawardena has told Lankapuvath National News Agency that flour price should definitely be reduced if prices of baked goods are to be reduced.
According to the All Island Bakery Owners' Association, although fuel prices have come down, baked goods cannot be reduced without a price reduction in wheat flour.
But the prices of bakery products were raised when the previous government increased fuel prices and electricity rates.
