The Government has provided benefits to all sectors through the 2015 budget and the opposition cannot criticize the budget, which has a planned and methodical process, Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage said.
He Pointed out that when he took over the Ministry of Sports, the annual allocations for the Ministry was 200 million rupees. Following his arrival it has been increased to 3,500 million rupees and now it has increased to 6,500 million rupees which is the highest in the history of local sports. (ST/KH)
