It is likely to develop in to a Depression and move away from the island. Cloudy conditions are expected to continue further and fairly strong winds can be expected over the island and surrounding sea areas during the next few days.

Showers or thundershowers at times are expected in Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces.

Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, North-Western, North-Central and Northern provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.

Fairly heavy falls (about 50-75 mm) can be expected at some places in the Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces.
