Showers or thundershowers are expected at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Western and Northern provinces and in Galle and Matara districts (Particularly in Central hills).

Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere (Particularly after 2.00p.m).

Heavy falls (about 100-150 mm) can be expected at some places (Particularly in Sabaragamuwa Province and in Kalutara, Galle and Matara districts).

Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
