The Government of India on a request made by Minister of Hill Country New Villages, Infrastructure and Community Development Palani Digambaram made a financial grant to empower the estate youth.
Accordingly, the agreement to grant Rs 199 million for TVTC Institute which is under the ministry was signed at the Indian High Commission recently.
The agreement was signed by Ministry Secretary Ranjani Nadarajapillai and High Commissioner Taranjit Singh Sandhu.
