Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Eastern and Uva provinces and in Vavniya and Mulathivu districts after 2.00 p.m.
Light showers will occur in the, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in the Colombo, Kalutara, Galle and Matara districts.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
