There is a high possibility of afternoon thundershowers in the Eastern, Uva, Northern and North-Central provinces today (13th Aug.). Cloudy skies can be expected in most parts of the island.
Showers or thundershowers will occur in most parts of the island, particularly after 2.00 p.m.
Showers can be expected in the Jaffna District and Western coastal area during the morning too.
Fairly heavy falls (above 75mm) can be expected at some places in the Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Mullativu District.
