Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Southern Provinces. Several spells of showers will occur in the North-western Province.

Fairly heavy falls (between 50-75 mm) can be expected at some places particularly in the Colombo, Kandy, Galle, Kaluthara, Rathnapura, Kegalle, Badulla, Trincomalee, Vauniya and Mullaitivu Districts.
Fairly strong winds about 40-50 kmph can be expected in the Southern Province.
