Accordingly, the consignment of lenses was handed over to the Director of Jaffna Teaching Hospital, Dr. T. Sathyamurthy by the Commander Northern Naval Area.
The donation was sponsored by the Rotary Club of capital city and Impact Foundation.

Sri Lanka Navy donated 100 cataract lenses to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital as a part of the Navy's Community Development and Social Responsibility project on 19th June, states navy media.
