Rainy condition is expected to enhance to some extent in the south-western part of the country from today (23rd June), states the Met Department.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-Western Provinces and in Galle and Matara Districts.
Fairly heavy showers (above 50 mm) can be expected at some places, particularly in Colombo, Rathnapura, Kegalle and Kaluthara Districts.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Uva Province and Batticaloa and Ampara Districts after 2.00 p.m.
